Clamping sleeves or also called dowel pins consist of spring steel which is formed into an almost closed tube. How far the dowel pin can be compressed when installed depends on the diameter. This is therefore chosen differently depending on the area of application. To make it easier to fit the dowel pin, it is chamfered conically at both ends.
