O-rings are circular sealing elements closed at the circumference, whose mode of operation is based on the deformation of the cross-section. They are manufactured from elastomer materials in molds by vulcanization. The simplicity of the design and the reliability of the function of an O-ring seal are ingenious. The designation of the O-ring consists of the dimensions of the inner diameter and the cord thickness in mm, as well as the material designation and its hardness (elasticity).
