Angular ball bearing
The most famous type is the deep groove ball bearing. It is intended for picking up mainly radial forces. As the balls closely fit to the relatively deep running grooves, this bearing can also pick up low axial forces. As a rule of thumb, the axial capacity has to be 10% of the radial capacity. The deep groove ball bearing is the most used bearing type, because it is versatile and there is a good price-performance ratio.
