Zinc improvement is based on high-purity zinc and aluminium pigments in platelet form (flakes), which are produced in a special process and, in addition to cathodic corrosion protection, also have a good barrier protection effect, a shingle effect.
The optimally coordinated ingredients cause the zinc flakes to be deposited flat in the lower layer and the aluminium flakes in the upper layer. As a result, a colour tone is achieved that corresponds as far as possible to hot-dip galvanising.
Fields of application:
repairing damaged hot-dip galvanised coatings in a matching colour tone
as a rust protection primer, e.g. for painting
for coating welding and drilling points, e.g. on hot-dip galvanised plates
as a conductive intermediate layer for spot welding
wherever metal needs to be protected against corrosion
