When big vehicles leave field passages or exits into a main highway, there's a high risk to keep an eye for. Especially with bigger agricultural vehicles with a front section (Distance between the center point of the steering wheel to the front edge of the vehicle) of more than 3,5 meters. For them, the official road traffic regulation mentions a guide as a support. Alternatively, the law permits adecuate technical devices for help. But what exactly can be seen as "adecuate"? To make things clear, the Fliegl Agro-Center has put his front section camera Hawk to the test – by TÜV and DLG.

Each camera mounted on the left and right, two front cameras are monitoring the front and side area of the tractor or front loader. This makes it possible to constantly have the cross traffic in sight, while entering unclear intersections. A monitor inside the drivers cabin shows the two pictures in a split-screen way (That means, that both pictures of the camera system can be viewed on one monitor). This way, dead angles are getting eliminated and cross traffic can be made visible to the driver. The viewing angle to the side is 40° in total – a convincing number, with whom the Fliegl Hawk lowers the chances of accidents at those places, where they are the highest.
